Welcome to the website for the Glasgow Institute of Architects.

The 2009 GIA AGM and Annual Lecture was held at the Glasgow Film Theatre on Thursday, 23rd April 2009. For further details, go to the '2009 AGM' page in the 'NEWS & EVENTS' menu.

The GIA and Holmes are pleased to announce a new £500 annual award for 3rd year students of architecture. For more details go to our main NEWS & EVENTS page.

The Glasgow Urban Design Panel (GUDP) website is now hosted by the GIA. Information on the GUDP itself, the agenda for forthcoming meetings, copies of presentations to the GUDP and details of the GUDP findings are available on the site. The GIA currently has a number of vacancies on the GIA Council. Martin McKay, the GIA President, has asked that any members interested in serving on the GIA Council contact him in the first instance. If you are interested in joining Council, please read the letter from the President for more information.
